Dexter Season 6 Episode 1 Leaked Online – Showtime did this on purpose ?

This is a great news for Dexter fans,The season 6 premiere episode got leaked online yesterday.Actually the season 6 is set to premiere on October 2nd 2011,but the episode got pre-aired/leaked online in many torrent sites yesterday.Since the episode got leaked there are many speculations that this was an inside job,but I feel that Showtime (the premium cable channel in which Dexter airs) did this on purpose.

Here is my theory on why Showtime did this – Showtime is a premium cable channel and they depend on subscribers (yes like HBO) rather than advertisers.Hence leaking the episode would make more people to watch it for free (even the non subscribers).This would encourage them to subscribe to rest of the series.Dexter season 5 premiere was also pre-aired last year and reports showed that that viewership for the series increased twice last year.Showtime is trying to repeat the same this year as well, actually there is nothing wrong in pre-airing the episode but why can’t they do it legally like how HBO did for Game of Thrones.

Roboform does not appear in Chrome

I was contented with Google Chrome password manager until the number of log ins and log outs I did in a day tripled. Every forum and every portal requires you to fill in your username and password before you get hold of whatever you are trying to see. Roboform came in as a great rescue but I could use it only with Firefox. Firefox as such with all its heavy toolbars and cornered google search bar was too slow with Roboform. So finally I could get to download Roboform for my Chrome browser. I was very happy! But Chrome also began to get slower with the Roboform toolbar on.

So whenever you are working on a single task which doesn’t need much of logging in, click on the roboform icon in the top right corner and disable it. Whenever you need it, select Tools -> Extensions. Your Roboform icon appears there and just click on Enable to bring it back. You can also uninstall your roboform for chrome alone with this option.
